These fortnightly sessions will run between 10 am and 12.00 pm and provide both specific, individual advice and guidance to anyone seeking support with employment related matters and general job-searching.  There will be specific workshops focussing on employment subject areas including Access to Technology in the Workplace, Application forms and CV's, Disclosing a Disability and Access to Work.

Guided Walks Programme

Weather dependent, the society arranges walks starting and finishing at a public house so beverages can be purchased for those who wish to indulge.

Our Guided Walks Programme has been designed to venture out of Ipswich to explore new areas. The walks have been arranged by Graham Wyncoll. Each walk is circular, and starts and finishes at a local public house, with transport provided to and from each venue from Crown Street lay-by, Ipswich. Many thanks to Graham and Betty Robertsonfor organising these walks.

Whilst there will be sighted helpers on these walks, if you know a sighted helper who could accompany you they would be most welcome. Walkers should be prepared for uneven or slippery surfaces, stiles, mud, puddles, rain, and plenty of fresh air and exercise!

Each walk is circular, starting and finishing at a pub, and transport will be provided from Crown St. lay-by in Crown Street return. To book a place on a walk, please telephone the office on 01473 219712.  Sighted members are most welcome.

Take a look on  LOCAL EVENTS to see the programme for our 2017 series of guided walks.
